What a visit to an osteopath can do for you
Osteopathy is a complimentary medical treatment used for the treatment of lower back pain, neck pain and most other musclo-skeletal conditions. The key philosophy is that when the body is working as well as possible in a mechanical sense that general health and welfare is also restored or improved. Using a number of techniques, including massage and joint articulation.
The aim is to get the body back to functioning in a harmonious way through treatment of muscles and joints etc’

I am a member of The Institute Of Osteopathy and have been a chronic back pain sufferer for over 40 years, I also have had problems with pretty much every other part of the body. I know the pain of ‘slipped discs’, frozen shoulders and painful knees. This personal experience and my original training as a psychologist, allows me to bring a level of empathy many other osteopaths (while fantastic at their job) lack… and empathy is a very important part of the healing relationship between us. Every patient is an individual and everyone’s treatment reflects that. I will tailor your treatment to you in a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere. I also strive to never ever be running late when you arrive for your appointment.
